A Brazilian designer has won an award for her lingerie concept that illuminates when touched.
Aline Darc Piculo dos Santos won the fashion and accessories competition in Swedish "intimate lifestyle" company LELO’s Global UnDesign Awards, scooping a cash prize of $1000 (£615).
The California-based designer said her creation, called Toque, will help people “connect during intimate moments,” reports the Daily Mail.
Her bra and briefs designs, which are not yet in production, feature in-built microsensors that illuminate when touched.
The idea behind the invention is to spice up people’s love lives.
Lingerie Insight previously reported that Italian lingerie brand Cosabella has launched a range of garments that glow in the dark.
