Curvy Kate trumps Victoria’s Secret in customer engagement ranking

Curvy Kate has topped a list of lingerie brands and retailers serving up the most engaging content on social media, beating Victoria’s Secret and Ann Summers.

According to a report compiled by Inside Online, Curvy Kate’s blog, ‘What Type of Boobs do you Have?’, was the most shared editorial content produced by a lingerie brand in 2016.

The post was shared 17,116 times on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Google+.

Victoria’s Secret was ranked second on the list for its ‘2016 What is Sexy’ list, which was shared 15,309 times.

Ann Summers offered the third most engaging content in 2016, according to Inside Online, while Bare Necessities and Bluebella were ranked fourth and fifth in the list.

SEO and digital content experts Inside Online said: “Understanding how existing content is performing is an integral part of building an effective content strategy.

“We looked at the top engaging contents produced by the top brands within this report and measured how effective it has been in gaining social media shares.”
