Curvy Kate names shop window competition winner

Fuller bust brand Curvy Kate has announced the winner of its first Star in a Bra shop window competition.

La Bella Lingerie in Rotherham, Yorkshire has won £500 worth of Curvy Kate stock, beating four other rivals.

Curvy Kate called upon all its UK independent businesses to get creative by sending each a bespoke window kit that they were able to use to make individual, engaging and innovative shop fronts.

The five strongest entries were then put through to a final round and voted on by Curvy Kate fans through Facebook, with 1214 votes recorded and 200 shares.

Karen Carr, owner of La Bella Lingerie, which opened in November, commented on her win: “As a new retailer, being selected by Curvy Kate to enter their shop window display competition has given me a fantastic opportunity to raise the profile of the business.

“I was elated to be told that I had won the competition. Customers have commented on how great it is to see the promotion of a positive body image for the curvy lady. Curvy Kate is a great brand to work with to do just that.”

The shop window competition was held in celebration of Curvy Kate’s 7th annual model search that has been launched worldwide this year. Curvy Kate hopes to find a new face and ambassador for the brand.
