Curvy Kate is utilising the power of social media this Valentine’s Day with the launch of its first Twitter competition.
Entrants must ensure they put @curvykate in the tweet, followed by their choice of set from the Spring Summer collection and why they like it.
They have until 5pm to tweet the brand, which will choose two winners at random before getting in touch to obtain the entrants’ details. The two winning tweeters will sent the set of their choice.
The marketing scheme seeks to increase the brand’s following ahead of the launch of its Star in a Bra competition, this February 23.
The annual competition, sponsored this year by Simply Yours, will be run on Facebook for the first time.
It will be managed by mycleveragency (MCA), which has devised a Facebook application and social network strategy that enables entrants to upload their photos on the social media site, with the public interacting through two voting stages.
The top 30 images will be featured on Curvy Kate’s page. The winner will model with the brand for two seasons and be provided with a year’s supply of lingerie.
