Curvy Kate expands social horizons to France

The UK Lingerie Awards’ Full Bust Brand of the Year winner Curvy Kate has recently launched French Facebook and Twitter pages.

The brand, which currently has over 60 retail partners in the country, aims to expand its interaction with fans through the site.

Curvy Kate recently experienced a 117 percent increase in engaged Facebook users per month off the back of its viral model search competition Star in a Bra.

Over the launch period, key retailers such as Castaluna, Lingerie-story and VSLingerie will be involved in marketing strategies such as retweet competitions, the brand’s regular ‘Star Store’ feature on Facebook and on-going promotional campaigns.

Curvy Kate PR and marketing assistant Cheryl Warner said: “Since our customer base is growing, we thought it was time to extend our social media platforms to the French market. Curvy Kate fans enjoy an exchange of conversation with the brand and we are lucky enough to have a unique bond with our customers. Keeping up with the latest social trends and platforms, we wanted our French fans to be able to get involved in their own language.”

The brand expects the French Facebook page to see similar growth to its USA Facebook page, which has attracted 3500+ fans since January this year.
