CURVE New York and Las Vegas shows: What to expect

CURVE will host trade shows in New York and Las Vegas this month in collaboration with Eurovet Americas. For those of you who plan to attend, here’s a round-up of what this season’s exhibitions have to offer.

CURVELASVEGAS opens at PROJECT WOMENS

Where: Mandalay Bay Convention Centre, Las Vegas. When: February 21-23

The season commences with CURVELASVEGAS, taking place at the heart of PROJECT WOMENS at the Mandalay Bay Convention Centre.

This new location was introduced in August 2016 and was met with positive reviews due to the energetic show atmosphere and the proximity of contemporary ready-to-wear brands.

The setting aided in connecting and facilitating brands and retailers to build stronger relationships, discover new trends, develop the cross-over between product categories and conduct business.

At CURVELASVEGAS, buyers will have the chance to meet with a strong collection of intimate apparel brands, including Ajour, Anita, b.tempt’d, Bedhead Pajamas, Cake Lingerie, Chantelle, commando, Cosabella, Eshma Mardini, Leonisa, Lou, Huit, In Gear Swimwear, Jolidon, Maison Lejaby, Miraclesuit Shapewear, Montelle Intimates, Munki Munki, NuBra, Rosa Faia, Sauvage, Silk & Soul, and Wacoal.

CURVENY focuses on seamless processes

Where: Javits Centre, New York. When: February 27 – March 1

CURVENEWYORK begins on Monday, February 27 instead of the usual Sunday start at the Javits Centre. This gives exhibitors who attended CURVELASVEGAS an extra day for cross-continental travelling and preparing for the for New York show.

This will also align with the other ready-to-wear and accessories shows that are taking place on the same dates at the Javits Centre.

Lead Retrieval Service

New for the upcoming season is the Lead Retrieval Service, available on the CURVENEWYORK mobile app. This will allow all exhibitors to scan the badges of attendees who enter their booths directly onto their smartphone.

Digital business profiles will be instantaneously uploaded in real time, allowing for fast follow-ups after the show.

Gala dinner and heritage exhibition

To celebrate the 10 Years of the CURVE shows, a unique exhibition will be hosted at CURVENEWYORK, showcasing the iconic lingerie styles of featured brands throughout the years.

There will also be a charity Gala dinner in the evening following the first day of the show, with 250 people in attendance.

The dinner will take place at the Tribeca Rooftop in downtown Manhattan. Here, 20 guests of honour will be gathered into 10 couples to highlight how successful CURVE is in matchmaking lingerie brands with retailers.

All proceeds from the Gala will be donated to breast cancer research.
