Cosabella takes a bite of the Big Apple

Family owned Italian lingerie company Cosabella has announced the opening of its first New York City Flagship store for summer 2011.

The New York Flagship store will be located at 220 Lafayette Street between Spring and Broome in New York’s Soho shopping district.

The space will be constructed with cascading white fabric lined walls and white framed fixtures, showcasing Cosabella’s 2011 ad campaign World of Colors.

Cosabella vice president of sales, branding and innovation Guido Campello said: “Cosabella has lead the evolution of lingerie’s transformation from an underpinning to a colourful fashion accessory that is meant to be layered and seen. Our flagship will allow us to showcase all of our product categories and collaborations.”

The store will stock a wide range of Cosabella products, including sleepwear, shapewear and swimwear.

“The Soho flagship will allow us to serve our loyal customers, VIP clientele of celebrities, stylists and designers in absolute privacy in our colorful and intimate setting,” added Campello.

Cosabella, a family owned Italian lingerie company was founded in 1983 by Ugo and Valeria Campello. It has grown into a second generation family business, with children Silvia and Guido Campello leading the company. Cosabella is expanding globally with a diverse product mix of intimates, swimwear and shapewear.
