Contour Fashion Ball secures headline sponsorship

The Contour Fashions Ball will be returning to The Savoy Hotel, London, this May 24, 2012, having secured headline sponsorship.

The Ball, which follows on from last year’s record-breaking 50th anniversary event, is being held in aid of Retail Trust and Fashion and Textile Children’s Trust.

It will be sponsored by INVISTA, owner of the LYCRA® fibre brand, Fashion Forms and Panache Lingerie.

Contour Committee chair Sharon Webb said: “Combining headline sponsorship between such influential, established key brands will undoubtedly strengthen the awareness and promotion of The Contour Fashion Ball, extending our audience to gain more support from the entire lingerie and swimwear industry.

“We’re excited to embrace the challenge of raising even more money for the charities, increasing the amount of people involved and grow the event as much as possible.”

INVISTA Intimate Apparel & Swimwear marketing account manager Michele Duncan added: “After a number of years of supporting this annual event, INVISTA – owner of the LYCRA® fibre brand, is proud to sponsor the 2012 Contour Fashion Ball.

“The Ball brings together many of the UK lingerie industry’s key players for an evening of fun whilst raising money for some fantastic causes. We are delighted to be involved in such a prestigious event on the UK lingerie calendar.”

Fashion stylist Mark Heyes will be hosting this year’s Ball. Heyes is a television regular and reports on numerous red carpets events, including the Oscars. He counts the likes of Lady Gaga and Cat Deeley amongst his celebrity clients.

Commenting on the sponsorship of the Ball, Panache Lingerie sales director Peter Cronin said: “For many years, Panache has always been a staunch supporter of the Ball and of the two charities. We have always sponsored either the grand raffle or one of the evening’s events so we are delighted to go even further this year with being part of the headline sponsorship of the Ball.”

Completing the sponsorship line-up, Fashion Forms founder and CEO Ann Deal said: “We are delighted to be a part of this extraordinary evening. Thanks to the professionalism in our entire industry for helping those who cannot always help themselves.”

Tables of 10 cost £1,750 and include a champagne reception, three course meal with wine and entertainment.
