Contour Fashion Ball raises £50,000+ for charity

Celebrities and big names from the world of retail raised over £50,000 for Retail Trust and the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust at the Contour Fashion, held at The Savoy in London.

Guests at the sold-out event were entertained by host and style guru Mark Heyes, and famous faces in attendance included Caprice, TV presenter Carol Smilie, and former tennis star Annabelle Croft. Fashion tycoon Harold Tillman also attended the event.

One of the premiere annual events for for the lingerie and intimate apparel sector, the Contour Ball was sponsored by Fashion Forms, and featured a silent auction overseen by INVISTA and a photo booth courtesy of Wacoal Eveden.

Sharon Webb, Chair of the Contour Committee and Head of Buying and Design for Lingerie at Debenhams, said: “The Committee worked tirelessly to make this event a major success – and this is reflected in the fundraising and the same people attending year after year. With this being our 52nd Contour Ball, the event is steeped in history, but raises money for two very relevant and modern charities that help those most in need in our industry.”

Retail Trust is the only charity that looking after the needs of all 3 million people working in retail and provides financial grants to people working in, or who have worked in, the retail industry or associated businesses.
