Coco de Mer’s managing director Lucy Litwack has been confirmed as a judge for the 2014 UK Lingerie Awards.
Litwack took the reins of the London boutique in May this year, having previously worked as brand director of La Perla.
Her background also includes six years at Victoria’s Secret, four of which were spent in New York, before moving to XIX Entertainment as managing director of David Beckham Bodywear.
Now leading the team at Coco de Mer, Litwack is managing a brand realignment process to include the design of a new website as well as multiple own label collections and collaborations over the next 12 months.
Commenting on her role as a UKLA judge, Litwack said: “As a huge supporter of the UK lingerie industry, it is a real privilege to be judging the UK Lingerie Awards this year.
“Lingerie is going through an exciting time and I am thrilled to be able to acknowledge those that are continually striving to bring innovation and freshness to the market.”
Brands and retailers can now nominate themselves for accolades via the Awards’ website, which has undergone a revamp.
Once the lines close on September 26, a panel of judges will meet in Central London to choose the finalists and the winners of 17 awards, including Lingerie Brand of the Year, Independent Retailer of the Year and Marketing Campaign of the Year.
The winners will be announced at a spectacular ceremony at the Freemasons’ Hall in Covent Garden on December 3.
