Award-winning boudoir brand Coco de Mer has unveiled a new provocative collection for AW16, inspired by the ‘Pleasure Garden’.
The new range, with its erotic shapes combined with sleek, bold panelling and delicate laces, is designed to enhance all feelings of sexual anticipation and desire.
Highlights include the Angelica halter bra featuring wet-look lace with silk satin accents; the Ranelagh basque made using black and gold lurex lace with silk georgette; and the Alyssa babydoll featuring solstiss chocolate and Bordeaux lace with deep garnet silk satin.
Coco de Mer managing director Lucy Litwack said: “We hope to inspire new sexual experiences with our AW16 collection.
“The idea is to leave your everyday life at the gates of the garden and give in to temptation, allowing yourself to become completely sexually liberated.”
The Pleasure Garden is a dark, decadent, mysterious place, which was featured in Irish writer Oliver Goldsmith’s 1760 book The Citizen of the World.
The new range is available from Coco de Mer’s flagship boutique in London’s Covent Garden and at Selfridges’ new Body Studio on Oxford Street – Coco de Mer’s first wholesale stockist.
Coco de Mer was voted Independent Retailer of the Year for the second year running at the 2015 UK Lingerie Awards.
