CiCi PR founder climbs Mt. Snowdon for charity

On Saturday 10th September 2011, Cristie Herbert of CiCi PR will be attempting the climb up Mount Snowdon in Wales.

The climb will take place in honour of her sister and business partner, Natalie Herbert, who died last year, aged 25, from a rare genetic heart condition.

Herbert will be attempting the feat with around 25 of Natalie’s closest friends and family members, including Natalie’s cousin Camille Williams, who organised the charity event.

Natalie of CiCi Lingerie and Swimwear PR agency tragically passed away in her sleep in April 2010. It was later discovered that Natalie, who was fit and healthy, with no signs of being unwell, had the rare genetic heart condition known as Long q-t. It was this rare condition which caused her sudden death.

You can help sponsor their effort through Virgin Money Giving. All donations will be quickly processed and passed to the CRY charity.

The CRY charity, which stands for the Cardiac Risk in the Young, works to raise awareness of conditions that can lead to Young Sudden Cardiac Death and Sudden Death Syndrome, and fund medical research into the condition.

Herbert said: “I hope you agree with us and think this is a very worthy cause and would like to sponsors us on our climb. Thank you for your time, and please do give what you can for this worthy cause. If you knew Natalie, you know she would want this to be huge and raise lots of money and awareness in her honour.”
