Charnos Hosiery has unveiled the inspirations behind its AW17 collection.
It is the latest label from the Melas Group to present the trends that influenced a new range of tights and sock designs. Jonathan Aston introduced its AW17 collection earlier this week.
The key trend inspirations are:
As seen on the runway, spotted hosiery is expected to see a revival this season. Charnos Hosiery’s Mini Spot opaque tights recreate that look in black, grey and plum.
Other essential opaque styles will feature tweed, teardrop spot, striped, check and floral designs.
Prices vary from £8 to £10.
After making a comeback last season, fishnets are set to be huge again in AW17, and Charnos Hosiery’s Mock Lurex will bring a touch of glamour to this look.
There’s also a number of embellished opaques under this theme, including the Cystal Backseam tight and the Sparkle Spot tight.
Charnos Hosiery will also offer a range of woolly and textured tights this season to keep the legs warm on cold nights.
Stand-out lines include the Marl Cotton tights, Gotton Argyle tights featuring a diamond print, Wool Rib tights designed with textured vertical stripes, and Chunky Cotton Cable tights available in black, grey marl and chocolate marl.
Charnos Hosiery has created a range of patterned socks to wear under trousers for those who want to keep their legs covered up but still enjoy fashionable hosiery.
The range includes two sheer knee-highs featuring a spot and spiral pattern, and two opaque socks featuring a check and stripe pattern.
