Singer Charlotte Church has turned down the chance to model for lingerie brand Ultimo.
Church reportedly chose against modelling for Michelle Mone’s lingerie company because she was worried about stripping off in public.
She told Glamour magazine: "Michelle asked me to be the face of Ultimo lingerie but I’m such tabloid fodder that to do a perfume or my own bras would just encourage people to forget what I’m about.”
She added: “Plus, I don’t like the idea of getting my kit off. That should be reserved for someone special."
The star also claimed to be clueless about fashion and made a call out to designers to send her pieces.
Church said: “I don’t like expensive clothes – except Christian Louboutins – and I don’t get sent much, probably because I’d make anybody’s clothes look bad.”
Kelly Brook, the last celebrity face of the brand, parted ways with the company earlier this year after rumours of contention over a Playboy shoot.
Jade Ewen was recently announced as the new face of sub-brand Miss Ultimo, a position formerly filled by Peaches Geldof.
