Full bust lingerie brand Curvy Kate has announced 12DD student Cassie Hayes as its Star in a Bra Australia winner.
Curvy Kate, which has vowed to never use professional models in its campaigns, has now completed this year’s worldwide search for three curvy women to front its catalogue and marketing campaigns.
Speaking on why she wanted to win the competition, Cassie Hayes said: “I want to be a positive role model to other women and show people that you can be confident, healthy and happy no matter your size, height, weight and so on! All women deserve to feel beautiful.
“Being a Curvy Kate girl is being happy with yourself and accepting who you are. It is all about being confident and letting that shine through any insecurities – we all have them. After all ‘a smile is a girl’s best curve."
Hayes joins Curvy Kate’s stunning 2012 model line-up, which includes UK winner Sophie Morgan and US victor Krista Cousins. All three will feature in the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2013 catalogue, which is due to be shot in an exclusive London location, in November.
The highly successful ‘Star in a Bra’ campaign, which is in the running for the highly coveted ‘Marketing Campaign of the Year’ UK Lingerie Award, has been in force to select the brand’s modelling team since the brand’s inception.
Curvy Kate PR & marketing assistant Cheryl Warner said: “The beauty of Star in a Bra is how fans choose which girls best represent them. We’re a customer-centric brand, and all three girls from this year’s competitions reflect the body confidence and charisma that Curvy Kate fans want to see in our marketing material. We’re proud to reflect our customer demographic through our models, and I think Cassie is a fantastic new addition to the Curvy Kate family.”
UK Lingerie Award nominee Curvy Kate has reported a 76 percent rise in its Facebook ‘likes’, with its Curvy Kate Australia page rising by just shy of 3,500 new fans since the launch of the competition at the beginning of July, 2012.
