Candice Swanepoel announces new swimwear line

Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel is gearing up for the launch of her own swimwear label.

The brand, named Tropic of C, will be available next month and comprises 80s-inspired high-leg swimsuits and two pieces.

Announcing the news on Instagram, Swanepoel posted a picture of herself wearing a bikini from the range with the caption: “Couldn’t be more excited for 2018! I’m finally ready to announce that my swimwear line will be coming out next month! Have a look and please follow us! @tropicofc Made with loads of love. #TropicofC.”

The beach campaign was photographed at Amanyara in the Turks & Caicos.

It’s been a great 2018 for Swanepoel so far. Earlier this month she was named the world’s most influential lingerie model.

The South African-born model, who has 11.8 followers on Instagram, can earn as much as £50,000 per post, according to research compiled by Bluebella.

Candice beat the likes of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Dita Von Teese to the top of the list, not just because she has the most followers but because her posts on Instragram have far more impact than her competition.

While Rosie will typically get around 80,000 likes for a post, Victoria’s Secret star Candice’s average number of likes is well over 300,000.
