The Calzedonia Group said it will open new stores in the UK and expand into the Far East after recording positive growth for 2013.
The Italian lingerie and swimwear producer said consolidated full-year turnover reached €1.6mn, an increase of 11% from 2012.
The growth was driven by a sales increase across all brands. Calzedonia achieved a turnover of €548 million (+13%), Intimissimi €522 million (+9%), Tezenis €443 million (+11%), and Falconeri reached €20 million (+28%).
Calzedonia will be opening a new store on Oxford Street this summer and the first store outside of London is scheduled to open in Brighton later in the year, the group said.
The company is also planning to expand into the Far East after successfully opening a store in Hong Kong.
“These are important markets with great potential for future growth and Calzedonia plans to continue to expand globally to confirm its international presence,” the group said in a statement.
