Cake Lingerie sees 300% growth in 6 months

Cake Lingerie has seen 300 percent growth over the past six months.

The brand, which is the winner of the of the UK Lingerie Awards 2011 Maternity Brand of the Year, attributes the growth partly to the ‘phenomenal’ success of its latest product innovation – the ‘1st Luxury Seamless’ Collection, Cotton Candy.

Cotton Candy has reportedly become the brand’s fastest selling range of products to date, with well-respected global authorities crowning it ‘the best-ever maternity bra’ and ‘comfiest bra in the world’.

Made from yarn, knit and support panels, this product grows with the wearer and is designed to be worn throughout the the first trimester, post birth and as a sleep bra.

A Mother’s Boutique owner Judy Masucci said: “My overall sales of Cake products have gone up tremendously – I am having trouble keeping things in stock despite my recent giant orders. I’ll just have to take backorders and order again. It’s a great problem to have.”
