Budding Curvy Kate models put fuller-bust strapless bra to the test

A strapless bra that promises to hold weights of up to 5kgs has been put to the ultimate test by contestants competing in Curvy Kate’s latest Star in a Bra competition.

Twenty budding models of all shapes and sizes were asked to prove the holding power of the brand’s Luxe bra during a casting call in New York City last month by leaping and jumping in the air.

While some of contestants and leaped energetically, others opted to cartwheel and do headstands to demonstrate the bra’s support.

The Luxe strapless bra, available in cup sizes up to a J cup, was launched in 2014, a remains a best-seller for Curvy Kate.

Head of PR and Marketing, Hannah Isichei said: “The Luxe strapless is a product we are extremely proud of, it’s a feat of engineering and we wanted a way to show how well it supports a wide range of sizes.

“It’s easy to say that Luxe is the best strapless on the market but it’s another thing to show it. As we are looking for our next model via our Star in a Bra competition it seemed like the perfect opportunity to capture the bra being worn by a variety of different women and proving that it can successfully support different breast sizes and shapes even during excessive movement.”
