British swimwear brand South Beach, which was launched at Moda in August, says it enjoyed a positive response from all parts of the retail community.
The company introduced its SS13 collection at the Birmingham show, and is already building a list of stockists while working on the launch of its web site.
“Moda was definitely the right place to launch the brand; we had a great reaction to the range from independents, department stores, multiple retailers and online stores that we’re targeting. The feedback was really positive and retailers have welcomed our fashion-led, beach club-style swimwear as it offers an alternative to more mainstream product but still at entry level price points,” said company director Jonathan Crewe.
Visitors to the South Beach exhibit were able to view pieces within individual ranges within the 2013 line up, as well as demonstrations of how individual looks are designed to be paired with other elements of the collection.
