The launch of Victoria’s Secret stores in London, this year, took place with more fizzle than fizz, but the US retailer appears set to make amends to the nation by inviting two British models to take part in its famous, annual runway event.
Victoria’s Secret will be adding high fashion models Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn to the bevy of Angels who will be appearing in its extravagant show, which will take place on November 6.
On being selected, Delevingne tweeted: : "So excited for the #VSFashionShow ! Had my fitting yesterday and am so happy about my outfit. Be prepared, be very prepared.”
Dunn also tweeted “And I’m off again LDN see you in a bit……..NY I’ll be back in a bit X”
Both models already have impressive resumes. Dunn was reportedly the first black woman to appear on Prada’s catwalk in more than a decade, while Delevingne was the model of the moment at the recent round of SS13 shows.
The famous Fantasy bra will be modelled at this year’s Victoria’s Secret show by Alessandra Ambrosio.
