Luxury bondage brand Bordelle has relaunched its ecommerce site in time for the festive shopping period.
Bordelle founder Alexandra Popa recruited Alchemy Digital to create the new website, which offers the complete Bordelle collection and a made to measure service.
Alchemy Digital has previously launched websites for Bendon’s lingerie brands.
"I was impressed by Alchemy Digital’s thorough research and knowledge of our industry and the requirements of what makes selling lingerie online a success," said Popa, who added that online sales through Bordelle’s site currently account for 20% of overall sales.
This figure is set to double over the next year as a result of the new site.
New features across the site include details on the inspirations behind the collections and the ‘Curated Kink’ section, a new platform offering clients an insight into the world of Bordelle.
Bordelle said it has seen its international sales grow by 18% this year, without the use of SEO or Adwords.
The brand attributes this growth to its recognisable bondage aesthetic, and to trends in fashion where sheer layers allow for the seductive showing of what lies beneath a woman’s clothes.
