Berlei is celebrating double medal success after two of its leading sports bras scooped both the silver and bronze awards at the Women’s Running Sports Awards.
The winning duo, Berlei Fit and Berlei Running, were launched last year as part of the Berlei Sport range.
They were awarded silver and bronze medals respectively in the Best Sports Bra category, following rigorous testing by an independent panel of reviewers, who scrutinised practicality, fit for purpose, value for money and quality.
The bras were put through their paces by sixty testers from running clubs and also individual runners, who had different running styles and enjoyed running on different terrain.
The silver medal winner Berlei Fit, which retails for £30, was recognized for its ‘stylish design, breathability and ultimate comfort’.
It is custom-made for high impact activities such as zumba, dance and gymnastics and is athlete-endorsed by pro rhythmic gymnast Maxime Guillain, whose feedback was incorporated into the bra’s development.
The Berlei Running, which retails for £32, took the bronze medal and is already established as a Berlei best-seller.
Designed for its functional qualities as well as its aesthetic merits, the bra’s ‘maximum support, minimum boing’, strapline is endorsed by the latest sonic technology to block bounce and provide the ultimate support.
All winners in the Women’s Running Sports Awards will be featured in the December issue of the magazine, which hits shelves on October 25, 2012.
