Leading lingerie brands Berlei and Gossard, both part of the Courtaulds Group, have been recognised by two leading national publications for ‘best in class’ garments.
The Sun recently rated Gossard’s Super Egoboost bra the best push-up bra currently available on the market.
The newspaper’s consumer tester awarded the Super Egoboost full marks with a 5/5 rating for its lift, endorsing the new style for being “really secure” whilst still giving the wearer “a good shape”.
Meanwhile, Berlei’s Sport Running Bra was given the seal of approval by Women’s Running magazine. The May issue puts a range of sports bras through their paces, ranking out of 10 for comfort, style and bounce control.
The Berlei Running received the best rating with a 9/10, beating a series of other big brand rivals. The tester was attracted to the Berlei Running’s soft fabric and flattering style, noting that ‘it certainly felt there was very little movement when running.’
Berlei and Gossard managing director Tony Jarvis said: “Our lingerie is developed to compete with and surpass the market’s leading brands on comfort, fit and style – so we’re delighted that the ladies testing the bras for the likes of The Sun and Women’s Running gave top marks to the Berlei Running and Egoboost. Both bras have exceeded our sales expectations, and we’re working hard to meet customer demand.”
