A beachwear designer from London has joined the race to become Lord Sugar’s next apprentice.
Thirty-seven-year-old JD O’Brien, who owns a men’s beachwear company, will go head to head with eighteen other hopefuls to win a £250K investment from the British magnate.
O’Brien believes he can make the best of any situation whilst still being a “good bloke”.
Speaking to the BBC cameras ahead of this year’s series, he said: “What excites me about business is making money, being successful, getting the plaudit from from your peers for being successful.
“And a nice side effect from that is making money. I have a ‘never say die’ attitude, I keep going ’til the end and I won’t sit down until I’ve achieved everything in life.”
The Apprentice returns to our screens on Thursday at 9pm.
