London-based couture latex lingerie and women’s wear designer Atsuko Kudo is collaborating with cult British beauty brand Imamasqua, this Valentine’s Day.
The designer has designed a series of accessories in black and red for the brand, which is co-managed by the former Agent Provocateur creative director and son of fashion legend Vivienne Westwood, Joseph Corre.
The Atsuko Kudo accessories, which are available in black and red, include heart shape pasties with filigree lace (£64), plain heart shaped pasties (£52), a filigree lace choker (£52), knuckle gloves with filigree lace (£52) and a kitty collar with filigree lace (£72).
Illamasqua joint managing director Joseph Corre said: “Atsuko Kudo represents the pinnacle of quality and design in latex fantasy and couture wear. These are qualities that Illamasqua share and therefore it is a pleasure to collaborate with them on this super sexy little accessory collection for Valentine’s Day.”
Designer Atsuko Kudo added: “Atsuko Kudo is very happy to collaborate with fabulous make up artistes, Illamasqua for this Valentine season. Illamasqua create luxurious make up to enhance the natural beauty of the alter ego, whilst Atsuko Kudo creates couture latex clothing & accessories for those who wish to look and feel beautiful, feminine and strong. So the two brands are following a very similar path – helping anyone who wants to find a different and exciting version of the person already within themselves.”
The collection is available exclusively at Illamasqua’s London flagship store, 20 Beak St W1, Illamasqua Liverpool in the Met Quarter and Illamasqua Leeds in The Victoria Quarter from 4th February 2012 for a limited period.
