The BraFittingCourse .co.uk has increased its level of attendance, this year.
With a turbulent economic climate in the world of retail, the Bra Fitting Course estimated to only match last year’s number of attendees, but figures have increased in 2011 by 15 percent.
Course leader Lindsey Brown said: “The majority of new businesses setting up in 2011 and 2012 are taking their time to plan, research and benefit from expert training rather than rushing in without any knowledge, as financially they can’t afford to. Product knowledge training at the initial stages is essential.”
Since its introduction in 2006, The Bra Fitting Course has increased its overseas visitors and 25 percent of attendees in 2011 booked onto the course from outside the UK. 50 percent of these overseas ladies were from countries outside of Europe, such as Africa and Australasia.
Ladies setting up lingerie businesses in Nigeria, Australia, Spain, Dubai, The Netherlands, New Zealand and Botswana all flew over to the UK in 2011 to complete Lindsey Brown’s Bra fitting training course in Leicestershire, England.
Alongside training independent lingerie retailers and larger online retailers in bra fitting, Lindsey Brown’s research into establishing correct breast support has secured the Bra Fitting Course bespoke training days and bra fitting courses for the UK health sector.
