In conjunction with Mary Portas, Charnos Hosiery has developed Armery, a new fashion garment designed to disguise the arms.
Armery will be available at Portas’ new London store, called Mary, which will be launched tomorrow in collaboration with House of Fraser and is based on the first floor of its Oxford Street premises (and online at houseoffraser.com/maryportas).
Part armour and part hosiery, the new product was created after a recent survey found that 75 percent of women hated their wobbly arms more than any other part of their body, and 80 percent were so self-conscious about them that they had resorted to deliberately covering up with cardigans and shawls.

Nine out of ten women surveyed reportedly commented that they would like fashion designers to come up with a new option for disguising their arms.
Armery is currently available in two designs – Plain and Luxury Lace. The 140 denier Plain design (RRP: £18) is produced using a 3D construction technique and is available in the following shades: Night Noir, Mega Magenta, and Intense Indigo.
The Luxury Lace Armery is made using a special warp knitted lace, which allows women to cut the sleeves to their desired length without the material fraying. Luxury Lace is available in Night Noir and Charcoal (RRP: £22).
The new Mary Portas & Charnos collection will be available exclusively at House of Fraser and independent lingerie retailers nationwide.

Bought my first pair today, now in M/L. Brilliant though a struggle to take off! Can't wait for the lace in M/L too. Any chance of some different colours, 'cos I'm hooked now.

I agree with the last lady. I'm in Ireland and would love to buy the plain black and the lace in Ireland. Please. And we love your show of course.
