AP’s accusation is a publicity stunt, says Garner

Ex Made in Chelsea star Kimberley Garner has accused Agent Provocateur of pulling a publicity stunt when filing an infringement case against her earlier this month.

Agent Provocateur alleged that Garner had copied its ‘Mazzy’ bikini with her ‘Monaco’ design.

Both bikinis feature triangle tops and bandage style tops.

Garner told Lingerie Insight; “It does seems that Agent Provocateur are doing this just for publicity, as you can see from how many extremely similar pieces that are ready available on the market.”

The model and brand owner also posted a picture on Twitter last week captioning it, "Interesting Agent Provocateur hasn’t chosen to sue any of these other designers…"

Garner continued to say that the luxury lingerie and swimwear brand is a “multi million pound giant trying to intimidate a 23 year-old.”

“It’s been really hard, especially as Kimberley London swimwear is my own company, and it’s just me. There seems to be no room for small start up companies,” added Garner.
