Agent Provocateur launches personal shopping service on Whatsapp

Agent Provocateur has launched a WhatsApp chat service to allow couples to interact with its agents.

The ‘Ménage à Trois’ initiative was launched as part of the brand’s Christmas campaign, Naughty or Nice, featuring a new interactive video starring British actress Juno Temple.

The aim is to uncover couples’ Christmas wish lists and suggest items from the festive Agent Provocateur collection to suit their personalities.

The initiative was developed in collaboration with creative agency Cult LDN and is the first of its kind to use Whatsapp to drive a campaign, taking advantage of the group chat function to provide a personal shopping and recommendation-based service.

With 1.6 billion people using their mobile devices to shop online globally, and a predicted 56% choosing mobile to purchase presents in the run up to Christmas, Agent Provocateur said it was a “natural decision” to launch its “biggest campaign” on WhatsApp.

The chat service will be available on December 6-9 and December 13-16 from 10am to 12pm.
