Agatha Christie inspires Betty Blue's AW15 range

Independent British brand Betty Blue’s Loungerie has a created a 1930s-inspired collection for AW15.

Designer Betty Hobcraft’s aim was to produce glamorous garments that would make the wearer feel like a femme fatale starring an old movie.

“Think an exotic journey on the Orient Express; or a femme fatale walking across a smoky Billiards room. An era where travel and luxury were synonymous,” the creator said.

The collection includes the Agatha nightgown, named after the Novelist Agatha Christie herself, which comes in vibrant chartreuse silk with a sheer dotted tulle inlay.

Elsewhere, the Lennox pyjama is base to a print exclusively designed for Betty Blue’s Loungerie by textiles designer, Christie Goule. Inspired by an episode of Poirot, the set is made in luxe silk jersey with silk satin panels featuring the Art Deco print.
