The announcement of finalists for the 2014 UK Lingerie Awards in association with Wacoal Eveden has driven a surge in ticket sales for the ceremony and party on December 3.
With just five weeks to go before the biggest night of the year for the British intimate apparel industry, the country’s biggest lingerie brands, retailers and buyers are snapping up the tickets.
“We encourage everybody to book their tickets very soon to ensure they do not miss out on the excitement of this party,” said event director Andrew Martyniuk.
The UK Lingerie Awards is being held at Freemasons’ Hall, the headquarters of the secret society in London’s Covent Garden.
The night will start with a celebrity-studded red carpet entrance, followed by a reception with canapés and bowl food, free bubbly, wine, beers and soft drinks.
Guests will also be treated to a catwalk show hosted by boudoir brand Maison Close during the event.
The show will feature models clad in its latest seductive collections, and will take place shortly before the winners of the 2014 UK Lingerie Awards are announced.
The UK Lingerie Awards, now in its fourth year, celebrates the creative and commercial success of the most influential and established designers and retailers in the lingerie, swimwear, nightwear and hosiery industries.
“December 3 is a date everybody needs in their diaries, and it is crucial that they don’t delay booking their tickets,” Martyniuk urged.
For the first time, the Awards will also offer a VIP package for the ultimate UKLA experience.
VIP guests will have their own seating booth labelled with their company branding, an ice bucket for drinks, and waiter service for canapés and bowl food.
Attendees who wish to indulge in the VIP package will also have priority seating in the Grand Temple for the spectacular UK Lingerie Awards ceremony.
