Nominations close in just 10 days for the 2012 UK Lingerie Awards.
The Awards are open to all intimate apparel brands and retailers operating in the UK today, including overseas companies that export to British retailers.
Lingerie and swimwear brands have been demonstrating their creativity, design skills and marketing prowess with the nominations that have already reached the UK Lingerie Awards offices.
Samples of their best collections from the past two seasons have been sent in with specially designed UK Lingerie Awards packaging and promotional material. These entries have been supported with engaging stories of how brands have driven up sales with consumer-facing advertising campaigns, education and support initiatives and retailer loyalty programmes.
Retailers have outlined their achievements over the past 12 months – growing sales and profits in a tough economic environment with intelligent product selection, stunning store design and innovative, multi-channel promotions.
“We’ve been incredibly impressed with the time and effort that brands and retailers have put into their nominations. But, with 10 days to go, this year’s awards are wide open in every category. Businesses must not miss the deadline of the end of May to send in their entries, or our illustrious judging panel will not have all the information they need to select finalists and winners,” urged Kat Slowe, editor of Lingerie Insight, which is hosting the UK Lingerie Awards.
